Come celebrate the Autumn Harvest season with a yoga retreat in
scenic Ojai Valley. Join Sara Ivanhoe as she leads you through four days
and three nights of yoga, meditation, pranayama and kirtan. Located on
54 acres within the beautiful Ojai Valley, the Ojai Eco– Sanctuary, listed on
the national register of historic places, is furnished with antiques, has
spectacular views of the mountains, hiking, a swimming pool and jacuzzi,
and an organic winery.
The retreat will include six asana classes as well as guided meditations and
instruction on the practice of Bhakti yoga. Sara will be joined by acclaimed
musician, Travis Eliot who will provide live music and chanting for the
weekend. All of this will be fueled by delicious, healthy vegetarian food
and optional organic wine.
Autumn is the traditional season of the harvest, time for us to reap the
benefits of the work we have done this year. This retreat offers a chance to
let the abundance flow and have some fun!

Sara Elizabeth Ivanhoe began teaching yoga in 1995
while receiving her BFA from New York University. She holds a
Yoga Philosophy degree from Loyola Marymount University
and completed teacher trainings with Erich Schiffmann, Yoga
Works and John Friend in the Anusara style. This training is
utilized in her monthly column, weekly blog and healthy living
chat room, which she hosts for “Health” magazine. Sara is
the instructor for the “Yoga for Dummies” series, the “Crunch
Yoga” series as well as the collaboration with Russell Simmons
“Yoga Live” selling over 4.3 million units worldwide. She is
currently on Fit TV’s “All Star Workouts” and her self-produced
“Yoga on the Edge” runs on Exercise TV. Sara has been a
regular on Vh1’s “Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab” and will soon
be appearing virtually at gas stations nationwide, teaching
mini-yoga sequences you can integrate into everyday life.
Recently, Sara has been certified by The Green Yoga
Association to teach Yoga and Ecology. She has been
utilizing her extensive training to create a wellness program
for the student base of USC.
